Hi.
I would suggest taking this to a welding firm to get advice on if it can be done or not. Apart from that I would check ebay daily till a replacement unit comes up for sale. I have this same junior vacuum. Yours is a 370 if I am correct as the motor unit for the 375 is a black bakelite housing in an art deco effect. I have a spare motor for that one but not the 370 which is what you have. Here is mine.
