Well, I am happy to say that I finally found a good Kirby Dual Sanitronic 80! I had been looking for one for years and found one online. My fiancé and I put it together tonight and it runs perfectly, and the brush roll has plenty of wear left in it. I cleaned the bearing ends from all thread and put a new belt on and the TCM head sounds great and the bearings seem quiet and tight. I need to somehow find a way to fix the handle spring and find some shamrock headlight trim but everything seems to be in good order. Well, I just wanted to share it with you, I'm very happy it arrived today.
