Heads-up to any collectors on here that there is a Kirby 4C in Central TX for sale on a popular online ad site that starts with a C (You know which one I'm talking about).

Only problem is it's rebuilt in 1990 and has all-tan trim. It kinda looks like a Sanitronic VII in that regard. That's a huge bummer. I much like the 40s black/red trim.

I don't see much on here about the 4C so thought I'd make a contribution, however insignificant.

Not only that machine... but I also saw both a model 1C (rebuilt in 1966) and 2C (rebuilt in 1974) with some of that same tan trim not long ago, and even longer ago there was a 3C that had 1950s replacement trim on it.
