#9...Thanks, yeh, I like to restore them as best as I can, to their original state. It is pretty mind numbing but looks great when finished. 😊 #10...I always thought the Turbomaster was Hoover's best upright that they produced in terms of cleaning ability, the hose suction on the Turbomaster could not match the power of a clean fan machine, all be it, more powerful than the Turbopower...The suction through the hose was pretty good for most jobs and certainy fit the bill, in my opinion. I think perhaps Panasonic and Electrolix didn't pay that mich detail in competition perhaps? Alex. |

I like vintage British goods which have the royal seal on them. I found some nice octagon shaped Johnson brothers "greenfield" pattern dishes from Stoke on Trent with the seal last month. We use them everyday now. |

Thanks Benny, I have never seen those Panasonic upright ads until now! I guess the reason there were far and few between was when WHICH took it upon themselves to stir up trouble when a child stuck their finger into the brush roll of a moving Panasonic upright who were then forced to fit silly covers. I should fish out the magazine somewhere to show what Which thought of those early uprights.
Infact I will do that later on. I also have Which tests of some uprights including Turbomaster. |

Amazing how much dirt was trapped in the old Hoover. Nice job on the clean up and rebuild. |
