~ I do remember those -- Supermarket Sweep was a lot of fun. The Price is Right is still running. I remember watching it after school when I was in high school, while I had to do the chore I hated the most -- ironing. Ugh. And there was always a huge heap of it to do with five children and two parents. |

Price is right has not been off the air with Drew Carry that long yet. Buzzr is running the newer Let's make a deal shows from the 80's. Only one car, a red Mazda GLC sedan. Not as nice of prizes as the 70's shows. |

We were not allowed to watch it. When my aunt told my mom she took my cousins to see Rosemarie's baby, my mom freaked out and told my dad his sister needed an excorcism. |

I didn't know the original Price is Right aired in 1960. Have you ever watched celebrity bowling? Too funny. Polyester plaid, leisure suits, bell bottoms and platform shoes. |

I reply: My dad was a contestant on Price is Right in 1962. Apparently, the show back then consisted only of what we know today as 'Contestants' Row'. The big prize that he won was an Admiral console stereo that we had for more than 30 years. |
