Nice save! Looks like a pretty bad bend in the handle. Glad you were able to straighten it.
It was nice of the old man to let you take it, even if he was a bit terse. My ex-father-in-law was like that, a master of concise conversation. He always said what needed saying in as few words as possible and once he'd said it, the subject was closed as far as he was concerned. It was a bit off-putting at first, but as I got to know him, I learned to respect that aspect of his personality for what it was and not read anything else into it. | ||
