I believe the green machine pictured is a Bissell incarnation of this design.
Very good design, very good cleaner. I used mine just last night that I bought a few years ago from Kirbyloverdan.

I like the way the Bissell/Sanitaire/Perfect variants modernized/modified the original Discovery design to accommodate the hose, wand, and onboard tool storage. The onboard tool storage on my Discovery Plus is pretty much a kluge by comparison. Shows just how far ahead of its time that machine was when it came out in the mid '80s.

My favorite upright vacuum cleaner is my 2013 Aerus Lux Guardian upright. It has so much suction! I'll always have one. Thanks Evan Rogers for it!! |

I have one of those I took it out of the box but have never used it. Didn't know it came with a floor brush like in Picture 2... ? |
