I am having an issue with the LX ejector where if I put my hand over the hose to stop the suction, the front door flies open and the ejector throws the bag. It is too soon since the bag is a new bag. Then I discovered that the tubing was bad and was not connected near the suction inlet. I took it apart and discovered that the nipple was missing and somehow broke off. See the first picture. I found the nipple inside and now not sure how to get it to work. The brass nipple seems to be broken since I cannot get it to stay in the small hole. Anybody have a clue what I should use as a nipple that stays and connects the tubing? Attached are some photos. The ejector seems to be in good shape. The tube you see in the picture is the new tube. The old tubing was sticky and black. Any help is appreciated.
