Hey guys I have made a custom Dirt Devil Dynamie Quick Vac. I put a hose from a Hoover Powerdrive on it and it's so nice. By the way it's explained in the link

Good mod. I had the Vax version in the UK for many years known as "Vax Quicklite V-046." I adored it. It didn't have a hose on the back so it was a true upright vac only.
I know Dirt Devil in the U.S had about three versions, one eventually had the hose on the back of the Plus model. But bear in mind it had an 850 watt motor and with a paper pleated cone filter inside, suction air flow can only go so far. The added hose you've put on it looks far better and far more purposeful but the true test on its power and suction will only be known once you've actually used the hose and any added attachments. |

Those paper pleated cone filters are pretty robust in my opinion and they can allow for most suction airflow to come through. It is surprising given that not many other major filters are added. It was the noise that eventually put me off using it - but it was a major help during my late postgraduate student years.
