I cannot tell you how much i love this vacuum cleaner to some its just one more compact but to me its special .
Why ? My grand mother had one she passed away on September 13 2015 so now it hold a good place in my heart .Also my godfather use to sell the m back in the day .I Finally got my very own Compact Electra iec in 2012 ah i remember that day .Unpacking my very own compact yaaaay! ooh power ! shiny! I was so happy .Over the years i changed to a new cloth bag, home care bags , new motor filter ,new pig tails for the hose , new motor in power head , new cord floor it to , new al bristle brush-roll. Find it cleans and grooms better now new belt to .I got the original metal floor to for it too 95 $ later . Runs like new great power , love the lonnng cord and long hose , love the cyclonic action and easy to dump bags no problems there 1 2 3 .Suction is amazing i cant believe how strong it is now . Even when vacuuming whit a 3/4 full bag no prob no loss wow just wow .Metal construction now that i love sometime i bang it up again the wall or furniture but its always in good shape love the metal construction built to last a life time .The original motor has never been touch!! Thats good cuz it runs wonderful y well cant beat it . Love the long hose whit swivel ends make cleaning so much easier no suction control but thats ok my hose is now original that why . I repainted it in light blue was jade green when i got it .My grand ma compact was blue so that's why mine is blue to .Compact Electra c9 is my fav vacuum in my collection because of all this
