Over the last 8-10 years I have slowly been putting together a complete Electrolux model Z25. Now, thanks to friends in England and Belgium, its finally complete. So I present the Electrolux Model Z25. Made from 1935-1945 (With a production break during the war of course). The picture shows all the standard parts, including the vaporizer, sprayer and wooden storage chest, as well as the optional 12" wide floor brush and the softer brush head (for delicate fabric) for the crevice tool.
The only piece I have not found is the mop head which fit over the floor brush. An interesting piece of trivia. This was the first Electrolux to introduce a bag full indicator, which was located in the front (suction) end of the carrying handle. While this model was produced in Green through most of Europe the ones from France are Red so I may have to track one of those down as well. |
