Hey, nice collection! The bag on the second Hoover from the left in the first picture is interesting. Is it original, or is it a unique replacement? I don't think I have ever seen one quite like it.

Also, how do you like your Lux 4000? I have one too, but I'm not sure how well I like it. I think it is definatly best on carpet and on carpeted surfaces it is fun to use but on anything else it seems to perform poorly or is difficult to use. The stretch hose seems to be it's most clumsy aspect, yet it is what sets the 4000 apart from other Lux uprights.

Good question on the Lux 4000, I have really wanted to find one. Hopeing that the suction is better on the tools/hose
then the older lux upright I have, where the attachments fit
in the top of the machine. Thought the on board tools and
headlight would be a better deal. Now I am wondering?

Is that an original bag on the 541? It sure looks like it. What model is the one between the 541 and the 63? Thank you for sharing the photos with us.
Jeff

Hello Jason, Love the early hoovers.....all significant models ! Is that an original 'santeen' bag on the 105/541 ?

If so, surely rare even in the USA, non-existant in the UK !!

Regards, Walter, UK.
