Hello, I don't normally post so please excuse my beginner like post :)

I live in a small house, half carpet half hardwood. I am finding myself not liking to use a corded vac for cleaning on the hard floor ( and the hard floor stairs too). A longer battery life would be preferred for ease. I have looked into Dysons and even used one that a friend owned but did not like it and did not want to spend the money on one.

I am willing to spend $100-150 on a cordless vacuum, but no more than that, and any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I will be going on a 7 day cruise tomorrow so I would not be able to respond to any comments until after the trip, hopefully I can get a few recommendations in that time ;)

Thank you for your time and have a nice day.
Nick

There is

A Hoover Air Cordless with a 50 minute battery life at Costco for about $150.

I'd recommend the Hoover LiNX. Most people like them, and they perform better than some of the cheaper uprights. The LiNX is currently $129.99 on Amazon.

I have both of those

I'd advise either of them.  The Linx might be better for a smaller place.
