Found this today. It was marked 30 then down to 20. We offered 10. They lady said 15 and I said sold. Doesn't have the crevice tool but that's not a big deal to me.

What town was that in? I wonder if that was bought at Joe Matthews Vacuum and Sewing. I was just given a green Simplicity Freedom. The owners didn't want it because it was "broken." It turns out, a lego got wedged in just behind the fan and caused a huge clog. The brushroll bearings are shot too. I took the brushroll out of my Hoover and put it in this and it works perfectly now. I filled 1/3 of the bag in just a half an hour of use. How much does a new wooden brushroller cost?

I never get this lucky when it comes to yard sales 😒.

Around here, I only see the old Dirt Devil hand vacs, and vacumms that are so filthy that I wouldn't touch even if I was in a HAZMAT suit.

I know exactly what you mean Hvrvaclvr. Every thrift shop and yard sale around here only has $50 crap plastivacs... Never a decent find it seems. But to the original poster, great find. Enjoy for those of us who can't lol

Right good find, those are solid workhorse uprights with really good airflow.

Had to pass on a Eureka Ironsides at a yard sale a few years ago, haven't hit into anything interesting since, good to see you've got better luck!
