Hello everyone. New to the site, name is Johnathan. I found this brown Electrolux vacuum, model CB. It didn't come with the power nozzle or any of the attachments. I'm wanting to clean this unit up, can anyone give me some tips? I did take and use an air compressor and blew out the motor and housing. It does turn on and does work.

I'm thinking the guy who owned it must have kept it outside in a shed or something with the amount of rust. I also can't seem to pull the hose out of the vacuum. Also, where would I be able to find the attachments and new filter for this unit? Thank you in advance for your help!

CB

Great comm vac from early 80s.
To quickly start some info--
Other than hose(yours look much better than average)& 3 wire cord on Power Nozzle any attachments were same as standard or available on household Elux.Options for either could include white bristle brushes & wider floor or rug nozzle.

Thank you for the info. If I were to do a search for the power nozzle and cord what would I search for (part number?). I would like to try and get the matching colour acc. for it, although it will probably end up staying in my garage to clean my pickup.

My grandpa actually has one of these vacuum's as well but it is a light blue in colour and has had it for a very long time. I think it will probably be getting a bit rusted as well as he stores it in a small shed outside. I'm trying to get it from him when I see him again!
