Hi everyone - I'm new on here and just purchased a Fantom vacuum model # fm788hc and wanted to know more about it. It's heavy as hell and gold in color. Just not sure what I have here...thanks!

I used to have one of those.
It was a lower line model. I did like the hose, and the motor speed control. I did not like the dust cup set up but at least everything could be washed. I'm guessing yours is probably a better machine with the metal parts. Should clean carpet pretty well with a new belt. I think you might be able to still get a hepa filter online, should you need one. - Mitchell

They... Do clean very well for what they are, they've got a very aggressive metal brushroll similar to what you see on higher end Riccar and Simplicity canisters and Tandem Air uprights. | ||

It... Is indeed. I'm pretty sure I have the HSN video from when Google Video (not YT) was still around. That's how I know about this machine, if I can find it I'll upload the video to my YT channel and post a link back here. | ||

Here... They are, I thought I wouldn't be able to find them for a while. My archives are a mess. So there's a color I forgot about a lavender/purple color, and two separate demo videos. | ||
