Hello! Really enjoying the site, has a nice setup.

I'm still very new to vaccumes, and I was wondering if anyone could help me with my Hoover issue. I have an older Hoover Elite 700 Vaccume picked up from a garage sale. Everything works fine, except the light burned out recently. I've done quite a bit of searching, however its hard to find much info on this product. When I purchased it, there was no manual included.

Would anyone here know how to replace the light, and where to order parts?

Thanks ahead of time for your help! Pictures are posted below:

To replace the bulb, I take off the bottom plate by releasing the two clips that are right behind what look like where screws go. Then by taking a flat head screwdriver and CAREFULLY prying the clips that hold the hood onto the machine. Releasing the clips and prying upwards will release the hood. You will see the headlight socket once you remove the hood.

But FIRST....

remove that little height adjustor knob in the front. The book tells you to do that so it won't "pop off".  You can get those bulbs at Lowe's or Home Depot also.   Now, you can HOOVER in the dark!

Thanks John, I am always forgetting that height adjustment knob myself! I always have to hunt for it afterwards, or let my cat find it a few days later.
