Hi Bill
Congratulations on your LX purchase. I have a few of that model myself and I absolutely love them! They are absolutely amazing machines, and if the bag ejector is working properly, they're an absolute blast to mess with your friends with. There's nothing like seeing the stunned/puzzled look on soneones face when the motor shuts off, the door opens, and that bag gets shot several feet across the room! Anyway, to address your question, I'm posting a link to Aerus' history where you can download a pdf of the full timeline, and I'll enclose a flyer I found a couple of years ago that I found on a dealers website. Cool Chronology...
...but the Power Nozzle info may be a little off. I have a 1969 vintage 1205 that has a PN-1, but the chronology shows they stopped production of the PN-1 in 1967, the year before the 1205 came out, and that the 1205 would have shipped with the PN-2. The thing is, I've seen plenty of 1205's paired up with PN-1's for it to be a coincidence. If that is accurate, it would lead one to conclude that Electrolux had something like a two- or three-year supply of PN-1's on hand when they stopped production. Seems pretty inefficient to me, but I'm looking at it from a contemporary perspective where just-in-time inventory is an accepted fact of life for most manufacturing operations.
