So during the restoration project I removed the lever that hold the nozzle in place, not knowing it wasn't supposed to be removed, so now it is stripped. 😔 Can someone help me out? I put HOURS into this Kirby and now the nozzle won't stay on! Is there a fix for this or am I screwed? "Literally"

A new fan case is the best way to go.  You could buy a new screw and a kit to re-thread the fan case.  But it's cheaper and EASIER to go with the new fan case.  Be sure and use some clear silicone caulk when installing the new fan case so that it doesn't leak dust.

Here is what I just ordered. Went ahead and just got a new one! And yes I used clear silicone on both my Kirbys fan cases. Thanks for the heads up though! :)

You might want to always check "The Kirby Needs Store" on ebay first. Their prices ere usually the lowest and you would save a few dollars.

We get along very well, in spite of that Kirby/Hoover rivalry.
He's totally passionate about those vacs.
Without question, he's THE "Go To Kirby Guy".

Yes, Bill Edstrom (a007vacuumman) owns a Gold Star Service Center in Janesville, Wisconsin.  He's been in the Kirby business for many years.  He can help you with parts and service issues.
