I recently bought a Numatic James JVP180 the older model with the 1100w motor
I then bought a Numatic James JVH180 again an older model again with the 1100w The difference being, the JVP180 has a removable cord so you can easily replace the cable and the JVH180 has the cord wired straight into the machine, that makes it easier to wind up, by the way. My question though, is, what does the "H" stand for?? Like the "JVP" means "James Vacuum Plugged" and "HVR" means "Henry Vacuum Rewind" so what does this older model James model JV"H" mean. It is driving me mad, I can't stop wondering...Any ideas? |

Because when something has a lead attached it is known in the electrical trade as "hardwired". Also, people who cannot change their mind on something are said to be "hardwired" CLICK HERE TO GO TO Vintagerepairer's LINK |

Thanks so much for clearing that up for me,
Since hardwired is all one work I guess it is "James Vacuum Hardwired" lol. The very first Henry was hardwired, but that was HVC200, "Henry Vacuum Cleaner" As for the newer models, I also always wondered what the"-22" and "A2" meant. of course the "A" was Autosave. Numatic's model numbering is very odd. |
