Kirby utopia has been discovered, and I must say with all honesty, it was a beautiful sight. It was like I lived my whole life off of charity, and then everything turned to gold when I walked through those wondrous doors. Sadly, I was only able to take a few snapshots before my camera shorted out, on account of my many tears...tears of JOY!

Calem, whatever you do, grab that beautiful Kirby 505! That old girl deserves to be in a home with a collector & have a good retirement after years of cleaning. And besides, whoever does buy it to use for cleaning house on a regular basis is bound to be disappointed. The Kirby 505 may be good by 1945 standards, but many people would say that by 2014 standards it is underpowered & doesn`t clean well.

That little 505 is not only a gal...she's my pal. I was just showing her a day out on the town, so as she could soak up all that fine BAMA sunshine! LOOKS LIKE I NEED SOME SUNBLOCK!!! I took her to my local handy dandy KIRBY dude, so as he could give her a ride. After which, he tried to bribe me with a Sentria II and some cash, which I replied to his most generous offer, "Over my cold dead body will you ever part thee from her!" Well, I didn't quite say it like that, but you do get my meaning.
Here's a photo of some trade-ins on their way to Mecca. I'm just glad their not riding on a bus...they could blow up!

Oh, about a million dollars....how's that grab ya?! No, it's not for sale, but for $2500 like the one on eBay, I just might part with her. OK, since we've dispensed with the formalities, you can make the check out to....It's not for sale...Never....Never....Ever, but for $2500, Who knows? This post was last edited 10/25/2014 at 02:02 |
