I would buy this in a heartbeat if I lived within half a days drive. Unique, nice condition and oh so interesting.

One of my other oddballs, the Swamp Creature, came from Daytona.

LOL D.T, there's plenty of interesting Kenmores in Florida (most notably at KSSRC!)! tongue-out

If I saw that thing at a flea-market I would buy it in HALF a heartbeat! laughing

I saw a vac identical to the little 2.5 Swamp Creature being offered for free in Phoenix. I have a co-worker who has a retirement home there so I e-mailed the seller asking if he would hold on to it until Thanksgiving when my co-worker will be in Phoenix for a week. I could use the lower body to replace Swamp Creature's with it's broken handle. It doesn't matter how ugly the lower body is because I can spray some Rustoleum Navajo White on it and, voila, looks like new.

There is also a hose with the deal, though the photos don't say much about said hoses condition.

Maybe I can put the remaining parts together with the repaired but cheesy lower body I have and a used motor from a modern Kenmore vac and make a Frankenvacuum, heh, heh, heh.
