Hello people
I have a question how best can i get a black hoover bag from the 1930s with the words hoover on it and the usual stripes. Im really wanting a very nice one if possible without nibbles etc.I also need to get the plastic end cap that goes in the end of the handle. I have looked for nearly a year now and have not come across one yet of either. |

Hey mr hoover 119 dude
thanks for the great telephone call ,and offering me the parts i need to make my hoovers intact. I owe you a favor and will keep an eye out on the isle of wight for anything that may interest you. The bag you so kindly offered me will transform my hoover 800 to looking splendid. The end cap will also transform my hoover 825 which badly also needs uplifting. I cant thank you enough and i really appreciate your kindness. It was great to talk to another vintage hoover enthusiast not that far away. If i see a hoover 800 on e bay or by any chance some place else,i will call you straight away for sure. Really excited to getting my parcel lol feel like a kid on xmas eve lol waiting for my presents. |

OMG WOW
Hi Mr 119 dude well i woke this morning with a very pleasant surprise to a jiffy bag, containing the goody's. The bag is in fantastic condition it has made my 800 look fabulous im going to take some picks for you to see and the end cap for the handle and bag clip will end up on my 825,the end cap i have been after as well as a bag for well over a year. You have done an amazing job with the orange lettering, i don't know how you did this but looks very professional, its really amazing that a bag this age can be in such brilliant condition really is. I can't thank you enough for your kindness, and i if there's anything i can do in return i am more than happy to be of assistance if possible. I think the 800 looks good like this, and i will add a picture in a bit.some people might say well i should not have the orange on there but then the jubilee bag had orange on it, so i think this adds a flavor of that time near the jubilee Im seriously going to keep an eye out for an 800 and to keep you informed if i come across one |

I am going to polish my baby's up tomorrow morning with bags on and show you a garden shot if possible with the sun out to get some clear pics for you to see
here is a link so you can see my baby's on video, but the bag in the video my old bag looks good on the 800 but in reality its not full of holes at the back and the bottom but gives you an idea of my collection. My 825 does need work on it but the local electric shops on the isle of wight are to scared to work on it the wimps, coming up with all sorts of excuses which drives me mad, examples such as; well i don't know if i can get bearings etc etc well its very old,and i don't know if its safe all this sort of rubbish lol My 800 passed a pat test just for laughs, and never had any work on it and still on its original cable Heres the link |

im probably going over the top with my pics but im so pleased, what i need now is to find a way round how i can make a rubber surround for the head light area on the 825 to make that complete.
After that i need to find a suitable man to re do the bearing in my 825,you wouldn't think so hard but on the isle of wight asking a hoover shop to do it seems like a miracle to ask for, ive been to three shops now and their scared of the 825.They come up with all sorts of excuses, but then i suppose they know if they hurt my baby's there in for it lol |

The pics really are not doing the hoovers justice due to sun light, the bags in actual fact are as black as you can get for bags that are around about 80 years old.
In real life they look fab!!!UN bleached by daylight and i suspect little used and kept in a dark cupboard over the decades they are so black!!No nibbles or tears in any visible area's.thats got to be a rare thing in itself |
