I know they do have good carpet cleaning performance because when it comes to Eureka, they know how to make competent vacuums. However, I question its reliability if you use it throughout your house almost daily because most modern big box store vacs tend to have cheap motors compared to older vacs. However, just clean those filters as much as directed (or even earlier than directed) so the motor won't overheat and wear out too fast. From what I read, bag-less vac filters tend to get filthy REALLY quick.

I see that you own a Riccar Supralite and Kirby. How do you think this cheaper Eureka's carpet cleaning ability compares to those awesome vacs considering you like to use the Eureka a lot? I'm curious.

it does pretty good compared to the more expensive vacs and the filter in this one stays clean for a while and yes i do use it quite a bit and does not show any use besides the dust cup

I guess I was wrong about believing that most bag-less vac filters get dirty quick. Seems like a good vac. Hope it gives you plenty years of use. I actually would like to have the bagged one if I was gettin' this.

That's a nice collection in your vid. I love the Miele S7! That's the vac I use all the time. I wish I had the red one, but I got the basic blue one because me and my Dad thought we don't need to pay like so much more for a stupid headlight. My house is well-lit everywhere anyway. I did, however, have a problem out of nowhere with the wheel assembly not letting the vacuum lay flat to the floor while vacuuming. I fixed it, and man it's difficult to fix! Here's a video with another S7 that has that problem in a match with a Dyson DC41. He shows the problem at 3:10 into the vid.
