I adapted my royal to use Kirby bags i felt the royal B bags i could get my hands on locally had poor filtering ability.
I put a Filterqueen (two stage) motor in my constellation which had a dying motor it seems to have about triple the airflow with the new motor in place I may also install a power nozzle port on it, and add a crushproof hose i'm still unsure of what kind of tools i will want it to use though. And while not a permanent mod i have paired a crushproof hose with my Filterqueen triple crown. which increased it's airflow at the hose end by about 25% |

The all brush VG I works great on my apartment's terrible glued-down carpet. |

I've got a Royal 4008, that has all the features I want, but paid a good buck for it. I also have a 1030Z I acquired for free, but it's missing all the good stuff. I will be adding a lighter weight, two conductor cord, and quick release hook. They're on order. But, I was disappointed to find it will not accept a headlight hood. The housing is different.
So, today, I MacGyvered a headlight using a cheap LED flashlight. It's functional, but I'm still trying to figure out a more permanent solution... CLICK HERE TO GO TO ornery's LINK |
