I am attaching pictures of two Lux power nozzles, one a PN-2 and the other a PN-4. One is noisy, and the other is having trouble powering the brush roll. I'd like to get them apart and possibly repair them, but so far have only been able to remove the metal piece. Can anyone instruct me on how to disassemble them further, so I can see what their problems are? Thanks.

Both are easy to take apart with one extra step on the PN2.After removing the 2 screws seen above, turn over and lift lid off.If parts seem 'stuck' it could just be from dirt built up over time without cleanup or service. In addition on the PN2 there is an inside latch over to one side that can be released with a flat screwdriver. This will allow the chrome bottom to swing down and the front wheels to be removed.Oiling brush bearings and cleaning should help.Belt tension can be adjusted to 'not to tight, not to loose' by moving motors back and forth if needed.
