Ben, the hoods were cleaned prior, lined with a napkin and used more as snack bowls. No hot foods or by anything wet in them. Just potato chips, pretzels, M&M's, tortilla chips, etc.
It was a new idea that we tried and actually we all thoroughly enjoyed it. If anything the hat idea didn't work out so well. The Denim hood that I tried has ridges in the top of the hood that mad it a little uncomfortable for a hat. However, still quite fun!!! In the end the hoods were cleaned up again. They really hold a lot in them!! |

It's not like we ate soup from them. Our Chicago contingent did the same thing. I thought it was rather clever, myself. I've gotten TONS od feedback about that. Some was disgusting. Can't please everyone. The ones who really hated the idea hate ME more, so c'est la vie. Sometimes I use Lenox china. Sometimes a HOOVER hood, lolol

I agree with the "rather clever" and am reminded of chip & dip sets with large and small bowl one above the other.Maybe done with the large hood and a small one above?? |
