There is no right or wrong and Please only choose one as your absolute favorite. After 20 years I have just switched from upright to canister and the Miele S8 with the Seb-236 is my absolute favorite vacuum.

Please respect everyone's choice

Filter Queen D31X, I think, with the 31/33 and the 95X tied as a close second.

I love all Kirbys...

...but if I had to choose one, it would be the Ultimate G Diamond Edition. An excellent performer and a beautiful machine overall!

Dyson DC14 Animal. Because it's a tough as a rock and does everything I ask it to do! :)

My Kirby G6 Out of all the vacuums i do have it's definitely the best on carpet. The tools are a bit inconvenient but it's a fair trade off IMO.

Tough call for me!I love my Concept 1, but not much carpet left anymore. Love my silverado, but the weight and size is getting rough for me. The dc18 I like and it works ok.Even my old Blue Magic gets a turn on less than good for me days. Small and light and a pleasant sound.

My "super-charged" TriStar EXL; now I'm looking for a more powerful PN motor to make the green bristle HPO brush roller spin faster.

btw, the green bristle HPO brush roller came from my Epic 6500SR. I rarely use that roller & prefer using the "double-helix" since it puts less strain on the PN motor than the HPO roller.

Having said that my DC14 Animal is my favorite, i think both my 14s are. Those who follow me regularly will know about my Origin...
