I presume it's for the tradition but I always thought the tradition one was grey?

That is a rug reno head, with a miracle head brush.
You can tell because it has the cut outs in the head to slide it onto the shampoo tray, the miracle head does not have these cut outs. Only holes for the screws which hold the axel shaft in place. And yes some were painted blue, while other rug reno's are plain aluminium, I have both types. | ||
