Hi all, I have a 2000 numatic Henry HVR200 and its making this wierd deep humming/grinding noise, and I have no idea what's up with him!!
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know!!!
Here he is in his previous role as work vac, he has since retired though!

Hi George,

This sounds like it's the carbon brushes, although it also could be the bearings, the only way tho find out is to change the brushes, and if doesn't fix it, then it's the bearings.

Hope this helps!

Oh right, when did you last use him before he started making that noise?

That's odd, I wonder why that happened. Was it stored in a cold/damp place?

Well, it was quite cold, but a vacuum has lived there for years so that shouldn't affect it:)
