Yes, we will need a picture, and keep in mind that any machine of this vintage, (1962) is worth whatever someone wants or is willing to pay for it at the time.
Keep in mind too that in order to get BIG money(like 500 dollars or more) for a vintage vacuum, the machine needs to be in A1 brand new like Pristene condition, with ALL of its attachments that were avalible at the time it was new,(and never or rarely used, AND the box all of it came in, in A1 new like condition, including the box the machine itself came in. Preferablly with matching serial number on the box and machine itself. A Kirby Model 562, in used, worn condition, with dull metal, and only some or none of the attachments,no original boxes,or boxes in poor condition, and in need of major restoration of all parts and re-buffing of the metal, is only worth around 20-50 dollars, if that. Yes, the original cord is a nice bonus! |
