Got these 2 vacuums today, courtesy of James(kirbymodel2c)!
One is a Kirby heritage that is in lovely condition and is very clean!
The other Is a hoover turbopower U2332, was completely clogged up and has cracks and chips in the fan, and creaks and squeaks a lot! Not tested that one yet though. Also has a cracked baseplate.
Thanks again James!!

Hi Mr G. Hope both the vacs are ok for you. I'm sure you will get the Hoover TP up and running in no time:o)

I bet your mum loves it each time you pop over and wonders what you will come back with;o)
Good job I didn't give you another vac as well;o)

James:o)

Yes joe the Kirby Is in lovely condition. Also I'll try running the turbopower at some point to see if the fan is still useable or not

Good, could you maybe make a video of your Kirby?

The kirby heritage is one of my favourite many many many Kirbys. You got a really nice example from James there, do you have any attachments? I may be able to dig a few out for you!

The turbo power I would just get a new fan for, would probably sound much better. The baseplates I'm sure you know can still be purchased from EBay and the likes.

Jake

P.s have you got your email up and running?

The video of the Kirby is on, it was the first time I fired it up since I got it so I wasn't sure how well it would work on camera!

That's not a good sign, a new fan should hopefully fix it.

I've just given the turbopower a quick clean with a Brillo pad and a damp cloth:
