You are right, it is a nice find
It is always interesting to see all the different variants of Lux cleaners in different territorities. And the cleaner itself seems to be in good condition.
The hose should be similar to that of your Lux 100 with no suction control/small nozzle clip and the handle colour matched to the cleaner. Obviously the carpet/floor nozzle is original although it is interesting to see that it is the earlier style of nozzle - the one I am familiar with looks like this one currently in ebay UK. Interestingly this version (in the UK) came in two versions with metal and plastic couplings. The combination dusting/upholstry tool was colour coded to the machine as well, with green body and white wings (I think!) as was the crevice nozzle. There colour coded radiator brush on ebay at the moment

Just a word about the hose
There were two varities of hose as well - the early version being the push to release type, similar in principle if not design to that used on the 30/55/62/65 but later on it is the familiar three peg system which yours appears to have - it would help you date the machine (I think in the UK 1963 to 1967) to know if yours always had the three peg system or an adaptor from the earlier version.

Not just the carpet & floor nozzles
I wonder why they never seemed to use the combination nozzle in Australia, it seems like they used the two nozzles right into the 1970s, maybe even later. Does anyone know if the had 310/330/345 equivalents, did they use the later "automatic" nozzle? Interesting too that it uses a short hose handle, only seen here in the 62 and the very earliest 65 models and the crevice nozzle is the earlier style and not the rigid plastic version that we had here from the launch of the 65 in 1960

is my ultimate electrolux! These were beautiful machines, quiet and very powerul, good strong powerhead and were virtually indestructable! The LED's were pretty cool and advanced for their time given they were the only machine I can recall with anything even remotely 'electronic' in them in that generation.
You can pick these machines up now on ebay really really cheaply - if only I had more room! | ||
