My step-daughter is a huge fan of Tori Amos. That is all I know about the woman, other than that one song title. I don't dislike her though. I heard she was compared to Kate Bush, who is a singer I really do like.

The only Tori Amos cd I have is the cd single of professional widow (It's got to be big) As well as the bootleg version that had the music from Profesional Widow with the vocals of Lisa Stansfield "People hold on" great mix:o)

No Tori Amos CDs here, or at least I don't think so. Hell, even if there were I wouldn't be able to find them under hundreds of Roy Orbison Cassettes, CDs and LPs.

James, Pro. Wid was a remix. The album version sounds NOTHING like the remix.

Benny, tell your step-daughter she has fantastic taste! Tori is amazing, especially live. If she hasn't already, make sure she catches her on her next tour. Incidentally, I adore Kate Bush! The woman is a genius!

David, are you missing Little Earthquakes? That album is essential Tori! You need to see her live at some point, she is incredible on stage! From The Choirgirl Hotel is my all time favourite album

If thats the same one Im thinking of, doesn't that Panasonic have a nifty pull down flap at the back where all the smaller cleaning tools go?

Post# 206362 , Reply# 22   11/10/2012 at 12:50 (4,184 days old) by uksausage (eastbourne east sussex UK)
flaps

I wish all uprights had that built in. The door as far as I can recall was lightweight and did the job perfectly well of hiding the tools all away.

flaps

i know what you mean the tools on most vacuums now are in such stupid places, they tend to get in the way, scratch furniture or just simply fall off and get lost forever or eaten by the vacuum tool monster, because you can never seem to find them again, i think everyone has a vacuum tool monster lurking somewhere lol

I know what you mean, but with my current machines I've actually not lost any tools.

No, but a flap is handy all the same - sometimes brands go as far to include bigger sized cleaning tools too.

bigger flaps

hey jm your very lucky the amount of vacuums i have its so easy to lose a tool or two or twelve
the old designs of tools attached vacuums was so much better if it wasntg the flap like the panasonic the tools were recessed in to the cleaner housing like on the lux 600 series or contour range, and on the hoover turbo 2 range, now the tools all seem to be in the way like the hoover hurricane or vax mach 1-7 hanging on the side, awkward to use hoses that like to fall out their holders, the problem in my house is if a tool falls off the side of a vacuum before i get a chance to pick it up (it takes me a while to get to floor level lol ) the dog has stolen it and takes it somewhere, god knows where only she knows where she hides them

and on the hoover turbo 2 range

turbo500's profile picture

I'd hardly call the T2 tools "recessed" - it was more of a tool caddy just shoved on the back. Another thing that made the bulky and awkward to use
