Have you guys ever heard or seen any of the extra-heavy-duty Kirby COMVAC vacuum cleaners, models CV2000, CV2400 and CV2800? Like all commercial-duty Kirby products (Janitronic, SuperSweep, and American Lincoln SuperVac), these three will be as rare as hen's teeth; like looking for a needle in a haystack.

These three COMVACs are wide-area in that they have respective nozzle widths of 20", 24" and 28". All three use 10-amp motors with varying RPMs: the 20" model turns 5400 RPM, and the other two have progressively lower brush speeds of 5200 (for the 24" model) and 5000 RPM (28") respectively, whereas both of their household-derived CVD series uprights turn 12,000 RPM regardless of amperage (5 amps on CVD1300, and 6 amps on CVD1600).

Those large Kirby vacuums look EXACTLY like the Tacanoy "Powerflite" widesweep ones-I have a 24" one.It does work well and kinda fun to use.Pushes like a lawn mower.and if the fan picks up something-a nice loud "Ding"-sort of musical results.I have also seen similar vacuums to these under Oreck.Who really makes these?

Hi Ben, Thanks for posting a copy of the brochure.
I've never seen these machines before. I know these are commerical vacuums but imagine cleaning your house with one of these;o)

Thanks again.

I believe they are manufactured by Mastercraft.
