Most of the parts unique to the safety switch that was originally installed on this machine back in 1979 are NLA; that design was troublesome to many customers at the time, and prompted Kirby to issue a service bulletin to its dealers to modify the Tradition back to the safety switch which was located below the intake opening of the fan case. You may want to just leave it with the Omega safety switch because that one was better. ~Ben |
