what's the differences on 11 blades vs 6 blades on Hoover Convertible? do you recommend the 11 blade non metal fan? I heard they noiser with 11 blade?

It's the same debate as to Kirby vacuums with the 6-bladed or 10-bladed metal fans and those with the 11-bladed plastic fans. I prefer the metal fans for the sake of originality.

Personally, I think it does increase airflow a bit. I'd go for it.

Would the amp rating need to higher in order to create the same amount of suction and airflow with an 11 blade fan?  It seems like more fins would create more drag.  I don't know!

Eurekastar

My convertible has a brand new motor. So I guessing 6.0 amps?
