Hey gang, govacuum.com uploaded a new video comparing the Koblenz and Sanitaire vacuum cleaners. I thought it was a good video overall, and figured I should share it!

Interesting little demo-I have both machines. They are about equal to me with the F&G bags-but with the new ST filtrete bags---the Sanitaire is improved-would love to see the Koblentz go to the ST bags. The Koblentz machines I have come with the metal fans-and metal body.Like the metal bodies and fans better-the brushroll on the Sanitaire is better. In the latter part of the demo-think the Sanitaire was adjusted too close to the floor-you hear its brushroll stall.Hmmmm-lets see metal brushroll in the Koblentz, and the ST bags-how well will the Koblentz do?and both machines are built in----Mexico.

I also own a koblenz u-75 with the shake out bag that I converted to paper bags. AKA eureka F&G bags. but the only difference is that I did the whole thing my self. It did not come from the factory like that.

cr not a fan of koblenz

fyi - Consumer Reports rated the $300 Koblenz U610 fair (only 30 points out of 100). A user review claimed that the vacuum was awful. The link below will only work for subscribers.

Yeah, and the "reliable" source also said the vac's best use was for tile floors. I generally don't trust things that say things like that.

Go vacuum is a pretty good site and they do great videos, but he tried to tell someone on youtube that Aerus is not a true elctrolux and true electroluxes are the ones that own eureka, which we all know is not true.
That was on the video about the royal. i would post the link so you can ad the comment but my laptop is bieng stupid.
