This is my 1939 all chrome Filter Queen.

Model 200A.

Made in Toronto Canada.

This was the very first model and year for Filter Queen as a canister.( It came in a tan brownish colour)

The above FQ was a "specialty" model being all chrome, not available to the public, and was used as a gift for the top salesman of the year.

It runs like a top, is very quiet and considerably powerful for that time frame of vacuum cleaners.

Oh thats a pitty but still a lovely display piece. I must say the motor hood looks very similar to the www.google.co.za/searchQUESTIONMA...">milwaukee commercial vacuums , but then again they have had the same design since the 30's so its not surprising.

still I think its really nice

Gareth
