Is that pad like a Swifter pad type of thing? Is this a vacuum, or a motorized dust mop? I hadn't seen it before but it's kind of cute. I have always wanted a Roomba to play with, but am afraid the dog would chew it up. |

Well, its a swiffer pad.
this is more of a vacuum, because it has a suction nozzle at the bottom. This is not a Roomba but its made by Dirt Devil and doesent have any brushes (except the whiskers at each edge on the front.) Also, its way lighter and noticibly smaller than the Roomba and much quieter so your dog wont be bothered (well at the begining maybe a little than he will definatley get used to it!) |

Does it work good? How is the battery life? I would love to have one to run through the house during the day! |

It works great (I used it for my small sized room, and it picked up a full dust bin!)The battery lasts 50 minuites, and it charges for 4 hours. The dust cup size is decent. It will try to get up on carpets and area rugs so you should 1. fold the carpet, or 2. take the rug off of the floor. One last flaw is that it doesent have any "virtual walls" so you will need to make a physical barrier. As to the carpet rug issue I stated earlier. It will work on area rugs but you have to take the swiffer pad with holder off. Hope this helps!
