I have picked up these Hoover Celebrities at estate auctions and I have to say that I am always impressed at the power and the great condition that the canister itself is always in. The interior is always rust free, the outside always in great condition. But I swear the tools always come up missing. I searched everywhere at that auction looking for hoover tools for this Celebrity and no where was there one tool. I say that because I usually find tools to Electrolux's and others but not Hoover!!

But I must mention that this canister has a spot on the side that has the paint worn off, I was suprised that it had any damage.

That is a truly great machine, I always did think that the hoover Celebrity was the best hoover canister cleaner ever. Here is a picture of the one that I got at an Estate sale it is in pristine condition.

It does indeed!

I only have the simple ones: yellow and brown and orange and brown.  Great suction,  like a sqwashed constellation.  Good luck locating the tools.  You'll find some.  Wish I could send you some. John

Hey thanks! I have to admit that the fun is in the finding! Those bit of treasures at auctions, history that was in the hands of others, being able to pass on. I found an Westinghouse vintage hand mixer, I love it! It is simple yet extremely fuctional.

All we need now is Petula Clark to start singing "Downtown".  Great vintage piece there.

Thank you! Boy do I need a new countertop for the sink! Oi! The picture is of a Celebrity that I bought off of a pastor's auction! It was full of Holy dirt!

Ben, that mixer is wonderful, and I had a countertop exactly like that in my first house!
