i just added 4 new old kirbys to my small collection. models:508,515,517,519. 2 from ebay & 2 from craigslist locally. i paid $40.00 for the 2 locals. thats a good deal. the vacuuming gods were looking my way this week. the other 2 cost $75.00, still a good to me. all work fine but have that, i've sitting around in this place too long look. a little tlc will take care of that. only one had attachments. some are missing.i also got a floor polisher in the box with the local one.

i still have not upgraded my computer to post pictures yet. i will say this, the history of maintenance from the owner or owners is right there in your face when you start taking them apart to clean them up some.& it seems most do not even do the least of any maintenance.i.e. pulling strings from the brush roll & lubrication on some of the parts. if you just took 15 minutes a couple of times a year it would make a world of difference from the service you get from your sweeper. this includes all brands. my 4 new old kirbys are not in real bad shape. one has a hole in the fan case but i have one for parts for it.or i could use that universal wonder tool : duct tape!! NOT!! this update brought to you by: kirbydude
