have you tried sears, they used to carry them called the sears destiny, dont remember what versions they had but they were the original fantoms rebadged |

And they say the part for the Destiny is no longer available. Maybe a local Sears may have one in stock in the parts department. Here is a link to what I found.

I think that when a company goes out of business they are only required to make replacement parts for their products for something like five years. After that it's up to the 'bojackers' to make replacement parts. If a 'bojacker' like Douglas does not make parts for Fantom I doubt that anyone else does either. After nine years, I don't think your going to find much in the way of replacement parts.

Another gentleman on this site directed me to this site for Royal parts, and I noticed that he also has some Fantom parts. Hope he has what you need.
