You can also use a Eureka power nozzle belt since they made the nozzle. |

There are a few belts that will work for you.
Since the powerheads were made for Tri-Star by Eureka, you can use a Eureka AR powernozzle belt- that's what most vac shops will sell if you came in looking for a Tri-Star belt. Of course, the Kirby knurled belts will work as well, & should last a little longer, as they will 'grip' a little better. You can also use the belts from the Royal Commercial Metal Uprights; Dirt Devil Jaguar, Purpose for Pets, & Royal Lexon S17 canisters. The canisters use powerheads that are knockoffs of the Eureka Express; the canisters & upright use the knurled belts. The belt you would want is Dirt Devil Style 8, part # 1-672260-001. This is the part # for the commercial upright belt & is the same part # for the canister belt as well. The Dirt Devil belt is IDENTICAL in length & are knurled like the Kirby belts, just different lettering on the outside. You will pay a little more for the knurled belts, but it's worth it, as they will work better & last longer. Should you decide to use the knurled belt, the Dirt Devil Style 8 belt can be found at Canadian Tire for $4.99 for a 2-pack. DON'T go to your local vac shop, as you will pay more. My local vac shop sells both the Kirby & Dirt Devil knurled belts, 1 for $3.99, so your shop will probably charge around the same price. If you buy online, though, search under "Royal belt 1-672260-001" on Google & that will provide search results for the Royal Commercial upright belts. Best of luck, Rob PS- Should you ever need to use it, Tri-Star's website here in Canada is www.tristarvacuumscanada.com.... You can order parts directly through them or locate a dealer in your area. |
