Shows peoples ignorance..Society today is not what it was 20 years ago. It makes me scared to think where it will be in another 20. |

I remember looking at this one yahoo group for vacuums. one of the kids was on about how he stole this woman's sebo whilst she was cleaning her car :P quite an inexpensive way to grow a new collection. Ian |

and I love the old fluorescent lamp base -- the one sitting on the pipe organ in my church is nearly identical to it! |

I'm 50 myself right now--at least until July 12. Enjoy your day!! I remember 8mm, too. My folks got a Mansfield Holiday outfit when I was about 3, still have it to this day, along with a couple other projectors I picked up along the way. Of course you can't get film for them anymore, but I like to get the projector out once in a while and look at the old movies. It's kind of sad, though, that so many of the people in those movies have passed on. But it's great to have the memories in those old movies--birthdays, Christmases, family trips, etc. Remember how, when someone was taking movies and you weren't doing anything you were told to "WAVE AT THE CAMERA"? We were still taking movies up until the film was no longer available, and so have movies of our kids, too. Jeff |
