Very cool, but I wonder why there is not a curved handle on the hose where it attaches to the wands. I remember seeing other machines like that as a kid and never understood that. |

Seriously, I mean it Hans - this is the sort of Happy Vacuum Collecting Happenstance that far out-shadows any of those pesky annoying 'Ones That Got Away aka $355 KENMORE WHISPERTONE 90' incidents that feebly attempt to clog our path to vacuum Bliss. The Fates were surely smilin' down upon you, Hans. Sears always did provide the most complete documentation and after-sale service for anything they sold and I love the implied inherent belief that the owner was fully capable of doing their own repairs. To this day I know I can call up Sears Service and obtain the 21 year old parts for my snowblower. I wonder what SEARS' official cut-off date is for warehousing spare parts? wouldn't be at all surprised that somewhere in the SEARS Central Warehouse on some long forgotten dusty shelf there are 48 year old replacement parts including a complete De Luxe Power Mate pn, unless 40 years is the cut-off date rather than 50. Ah well, one will surely find its way to you one day, you have the most spectacular Luck. :-) Dave |
