Very Nice!

Thanks for sharing that Charles. That sure was a beautiful machine. Any idea of a date on this ad?

It's a 1958 brochure

I notice it's a Mark VII, RCA Victor had Mark models in its stereo console line. What a wonderful looking cleaner!

This was one of those very lucky eBay finds. The seller had listed it with a "Buy it Now." I just happened upon it minutes after he listed it.

It IS a beautiful -- and very historic -- vacuum cleaner, and only a couple of collectors have one, that I know of.

Thanks for posting this Charles. Where is the PN connection on the cleaner,,and is/was the hose electrified, or a PN cord attached to the hose? Also what did/does the hose handle look like,,and is/was there a plug for the PN at the hose end of the wand? Thanks for all the info,,very interesting. Ive never seen one of these vacs in person. Im assuming these were simular/clones to the Kenmore's of the time?

I don't know much at all about this machine. I used to have one, machine and hose only, but I gave it away. I do know that it has an electric hose, no exposed cables or wires, and IIRC the hose handle is fairly long and covered or partially covered with a matching turquoise plastic sheath.

There are other collectors who know a lot more about it than I do. Hans? Are you there??

I have this vacuum. It's all original except for the hose.
