Hi, I haven't seen anyone on here mention the Shark Navigator vacuum cleaner. Does anyone on here have one? When I first saw the infomerical I thought it was a joke because Euro-Pro/shark products have always been so cheaply made and unreliable. I was surprised when I looked at consumer ratings and saw how much people loved them. Even when looking on facebook for shark navigator, when you search for posts by everyone, you can see how much their owners enjoy them. I have heard they're on sale at Costco for under $150 including the bonus accessories. Wanted to see what the experts thought before getting in trouble with my partner for buying yet ANOTHER vacuum LOL. This wouldn't be my only vacuum as I currently have a Miele canister(GREAT even after 10 years) and a Hoover Platinum lightweight bagged upright which is also nice (great job on the rugs, easy to maneurver but no attached hose and definitely smells like dog after 4 months). I just wanted something with attached tools to do my downstairs family room rugs and kitchen floors with the ability to get the dog hair off the couches. Thanks for any input guys!
And we all know how it works when a relative buys a new vac. We are FORCED to go over to assemble it and give it a test run ;). I thought it was an OK vacuum. I myself wouldn't get one for a few reasons: 1. It doesn't do well on bare floors-the suction is unevenly distributive. 2. For the category it is in, it's not very menuvarable. It's kind of awkward. Hard to explain but it just is. 3. Related to number 1, the edge cleaning is poor. The pros: 1. The hose is very long! Wonderful for furniture and edge cleaning. 2. Maintains suction and washable filters. 3. Brushroll on/off switch
