Today I just got two panasonic uprights, both have suction controll but one is dark and light grey and the other is white and maroon the maroon one is model mc6220 and the grey one is model mc6327 does anyone have any info on these or parts because the maroon one has a bad motor and the grey one needs the motor housing and back part of the body please at least help me with the grey one because it is the exact upright version of my childhood vac and I have been searching for one for years. Thanks!

Sounds a lot like my 6255, beige/brown, bought it new.Its my heavy duty machine, nothing has ever broken, even the beater brush looks new.

its funny that you mention the 6255

before today I had only one panasonic upright and that is my 6255!!! it is a great machine isnt it, the only thing that keeps me from using it more is that the brush cluch system sounds bad but it was a find from the trade in pile of the rainbow dealer here, anyways the best way to describe the maroon one that I got is that it has three suction buttons and that the suction relief valve on the bag cover is a bag full whistle, other then that it is the same machine.

Mine lived in my car trunk for years to clean my mom's beauty shop every weekend,no repairs! I now use it to clean the car/ garage and rentals after they move out, still looks and works fine.
