Hey guys, I know a lot don't care for this unit, mine is perhaps ten years old, used infrequently. It seems that when the speed control is run up to the top, some rpms are not there, like only 3/4 throttle. Ideas? Seems very normal otherwise. I believe this unit was a Samsung, clear blue top, silver sides.thanks for any help. d.

I liked the original Magic Blues.... I sold them at Sears when they first came out. The straight suction was prefect for bare floors and the one with the swivel power nozzle was great for small homes. I thought they were made by LG though.... maybe I was wrong! The handle seems similar to the bagless Windtunnel canister which was also LG me thinks. Don't know how to fix your problem though, I've never heard of that happening with them. I do love the variable speed suction control and power switch right on the handle, very rare for smaller canisters.

Im thinking the contacts may be dirty, just a thought. YOu would have to dissasemble the handle(carfully) clean and put a contact lube on. Other than that im not to sure.

The switch looks new, thought of that too. Maybe I just remember it screaming a bit more.
